Gribb, a passionate champion for road safety and sustainability, came to AppVin with the vision of turning their mission into a sleek, powerful mobile app. They had the challenge of building an app that seamlessly combines driving behaviour data, modern vehicle technology, and road safety marketing.

AppVin’s Transformative Solutions for Gribb’s Road Safety Challenges
User-Centric Interface: We designed the app with the user in mind, making it easy and intuitive for both drivers and fleet managers. The app gave them real-time data insights, performance metrics, and sustainability-related information in a stunning and simple layout.
Data Integration Excellence: We smoothly integrated Gribb’s data analytics platform into the app. This platform used data from modern vehicle technology, such as GPS, telematics, and sensors, to provide real-time monitoring of driving behaviour and vehicle performance.
User-Centric Interface: We embedded Gribb’s sustainability goals into the app through emissions data integration. Fleet managers and drivers could track the environmental impact of their operations and get suggestions for lowering emissions.
Emissions Tracking: The app had an interactive road safety marketing section, captivating users with safety campaigns, tips, and challenges. Users were motivated to join in safety-related activities and win rewards.

Technical Stack

AppVin’s Innovative Technical Stack for Enhancing Road Safety Measures
Frontend Development: We used React Native to build a cross-platform mobile app that world on any device.
Backend Development: We chose Node.js to create scalable and efficient backend services that handle high traffic.
Database:  We relied on MongoDB to store data in a robust and flexible way that supports various data types.
Data Integration: We leveraged RESTful APIs to connect the app with Gribb’s existing data analytics platform seamlessly.
Data Visualization: We applied D3.js to display data in an interactive and dynamic way that engages the users.
